We have had a very active year in the District. Some of the highlights are as follows:
· The District has been deemed to be on strong financial ground.
· Completed the establishment of a Tax-Exempt Foundation.
· Paid off the mortgage of the Headquarters Building.
· Had 51 chapters participate in MSP.
· Had successful Omega Days at both state capitols.
· District was well represented at the International Undergraduate Summit as well as the Leadership Conference.
· District has a number of brothers serving as Committee chairs/sub-chairs on International Committees.
· District is home to the elected Grand Keeper of Finance, Bro. Antonio F. Knox as well as Bro. James A. Jamar McKoy, Undergraduate/Intermediate Representative to the Supreme Council.
· North Carolina General Assembly approved legislation to assist in the support of our Boy’s Camp.
· District has proposed the City of Raleigh to host the 2010 International Grand Conclave.
We are encouraged with our District leadership and look forward to a productive 2007/08. We solicit the support, participation, and cooperation of each and every brother as we strive to fulfill our mission of "Strengthening our Families, our Fraternity, and our Friendships."
